Design, develop, deploy and maintain reports/dashboards using Business Intelligence tools
Translate business needs to technical specifications
Build new reports by partnering with key business stakeholders
Use AWS data warehouse & advanced data analytics methods to generate reports & meaningful insights to support business decision-making and business performance monitoring.
Maintain and support existing data warehouse & other analytics platforms
Manage existing reports that have been in production
Manage Scripts to collect data into the data warehouse on SQL
Conduct unit testing and troubleshooting
Evaluate and improve existing BI systems
Requirements
Proven experience of 3-5 yrs as a BI Developer or Data Scientist
Background in data warehouse design (e.g., dimensional modelling) and data mining
In-depth understanding of database management systems, online analytical processing (OLAP) and ETL (Extract, transform, load) framework
Familiarity with BI technologies (e.g., Tableau)
Experience in working with cloud based data warehouses, particularly AWS components
Knowledge of SQL queries and relational databases
Experience with writing complex queries & data visualization
Experience with programming and scripting languages
Strong experience with debugging and issue resolution
Should be an individual contributor, is able to work effectively in a lean team and is a self-starter requiring minimal supervision
Proven abilities to take initiative and be innovative
