Assistant Restaurant Manager

The Assistant Restaurant Manager has the overall responsibility for directing the daily operations of a restaurant in the absence of Restaurant General Manager, ensuring compliance with company standards in all areas of operation, including product preparation and delivery, customer relations, restaurant maintenance and repair, inventory management, team management, recruiting and retention of team members, financial accountability, ensuring that the highest quality products and services are delivered to each customer and other duties as required or assigned.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Process Champion
  • Responsible for closing & opening of the restaurant
  • Ensures complete and timely execution of corporate & local marketing plans
  • Coordinate training, monitor rostering & attendance, champions recognition and motivation efforts of the team
  • Maintaining fast, accurate service, positive guest relations, and ensuring products are consistent with company quality standards
  • Assists Profit & Loss management by following cash control/security procedures, maintaining inventory, managing labor, reviewing financial reports, and taking appropriate actions
  • Ensures company standards on equipment, facility, and grounds are maintained by using a preventative maintenance program

  • Education & Experience
    1. Preferable – 3 year Degree in Hospitality/Hotel Management with 0-3 years experience
    2. OR 1 yr Diploma in Hospitality with 2 yr work experience OR Graduate (any stream) with 2-3 yrs of work experience
  • Age 23 - 30
